1. Why do other videographers charge much more than you?
At Alba Weddings, we pride ourselves on keeping our prices as low as possible. Other firms
charge extra for multi-camera shots, HDV shooting, montages,etc. We do NOT charge
extra for these. We believe a high quality wedding DVD should use multi-cam and montages
as standard.
2. What are multi-cam shots?
If you have ever seen wedding videos where a single videographer is using one camera, then you will
understand the benefit of multi-cam. There is nothing worse than one camera fixed at the same angle for the ceremony. Frankly;
it's boring to watch. Alba Weddings uses two, three or four cameras on shoots to provide multi angle
shots and close-ups to keep the viewer hooked throughout. A wedding is a very special event
and using only one camera means that something will be missed whilst changing tapes, batteries or position.
We endeavour to shoot continuously to provide full coverage of your special day.
3. What is a montage?
A montage is a collection of shots (still or moving) that can be edited together to
tell a story. We will put together a montage of your day to include slow motion shots set to music
utilising the latest digital video editing software. Personally, I believe montages are the best part
of any wedding DVD; and we provide them as STANDARD.
4. I have seen wedding DVDs where I cannot hear
the vows of the Bride & Groom; why is that?
Audio is 70% of what you see. Try watching a movie with the sound turned down; it's
awful isn't it? As well as getting the video wrong, amateurs usually ignore
the importance of audio. At Alba Weddings, we use a number of techniques to
ensure the viewer hears everything they are supposed to. We use wireless and wired systems
to provide full coverage of the ceremony, speeches, etc.
5. When will we receive our wedding DVD?
We endeavour to provide you with the finished DVD one week after the wedding.
We also provide a free DVD for both the Bride & Groom's family. Additional DVDs can be
provided upon request charged at £15 each.
6. We see you supply two different wedding packages; what
if we have some other package in mind?
We aim to be as flexible as possible and will endeavour to accomodate
any request you have. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
7. What are the payment terms and can we cancel
if need be?
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the chosen package is payable upon booking.
The balance must be paid 7 days prior to the wedding.
Payment terms are available.
You may cancel your booking at any time up to 7 days prior to the wedding.
